Tips for choosing the right name for your dog

Preparing for your new puppy can be very exiting and one of the best and most nerve racking parts can be choosing a name. It makes sense because there are so many cute names to pick from and finding the right one can be difficult.  A puppy needs a name that they can recognize and you need to name him something that has meaning to you and your family! This could put you on the path of searching on an endless list of names. Unfortunately there is no magic formula or short cut for choosing the perfect name. Is it family pet, a show dog? How about a guard dog? Will this be a Helping Dog or a Seeing Eye dog? All these things are factors that should be taken into account when choosing the perfect name. Most owners pick cute dog names that suit their dogs for life. However, it always prudent to avoid names that are overtly cutesy if the tiny puppy is destined to grow into a huge 150 pound plus dog that doesn’t make the cut for the name pip. Here are some name ideas that will hope fully help out with the process.
